Good to know when renting in Colombo
We accept all major credit cards at our branches in Sri Lanka. Debit and prepaid cards are not accepted, and the credit card used for payment must be in the primary renter’s name.
You need a valid driver’s license held for at least 2 years. Foreign renters also need a passport and international driving permit.
You must be at least 23 years old with a driver’s license held for at least 2 years to rent with SIXT in Colombo. Some car categories have a higher minimum rental age.
